This month at Green Hills Office Suites we are highlighting our new General Manager, Abbey Anderson. Continue reading to find out more about Abbey and what makes her such a great fit for us at Green Hills Office Suites.
1. Tell me about yourself.
I was born and raised right outside of Nashville in the small town of Springfield, TN. I grew up right next door to my grandparents and on the same road as many of my cousins. As kids, we spent a ton of time playing outside, riding horses, and running back and forth to each other’s houses.
I went to college at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. During this time, I was an active member of the Sigma Kappa sorority, attended countless sporting events, and enjoyed spending time with my friends.
2. How did you begin in this career path?
Before starting my position at Green Hills, I had been in Sales for three and a half years. The majority of that was in technology sales which allowed me to work face-to-face with business owners and executives in different markets across Nashville. When I left that company, I began working in remote sales for natural medicine which I loved, however, I truly missed the face-to-face interaction and sense of community that I had in previous face-to-face positions.
3. What excited you the most about accepting this position?
What excites me the most is getting back into the office daily, having a feeling of a strong community surrounding me, and getting back into hospitality.
4. What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy hot yoga, hiking, and going out to see some local live music. I’m a huge foodie and I really love trying all the new spots we have here in Nashville.
5. Why did you choose Green Hills Office Suites? How has your experience been so far?
I chose Green Hills first and foremost because of the leadership. After every interview, I was left feeling so great because everyone I spoke to was so genuine and kind. The more I learned about Green Hills, the more it felt like the perfect place for me. I am super happy to be back in sales that is centered in hospitality. I have enjoyed every minute of it here thus far and I am looking forward to my future with this company!
