Giving Tuesday is just around the corner and at Green Hills Office Suites, giving back to our community has been a priority. To celebrate the occasion this year we are working with the local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House.
If you want to join our effort and give with us, you can contribute canned goods and non-perishables, books, toys, board games, towels, bedding, laundry detergent, and personal care items.
If you feel like doing something on your own, we strongly encourage you to work with a local charity or organization. Here are some reasons why.
- Build Your Network + Strengthen Your Community
By working with a local organization, not only can you build your business network, but you can strengthen and nurture the same community that has helped your business thrive and succeed.
- You’ll Make a Difference
When working with local charities, a little goes a long way. Small donations and contributions can truly make a difference with these organizations and further their efforts and reach.
- It can Help Engage and Motivate Your Employees
There’s always a feel-good factor associated with giving back; if you give back to your local community as a business, then you are likely to have a motivated, happy team. Pro tip: ask your employees what causes are close to their hearts and ask them to suggest organizations they would like to work with.
- It Positively Affects Your Business Image
Today’s consumers and employees care about a company’s mission, purpose, and values. If your local community sees you giving back to local organizations, then they are likely to hold your company in higher esteem, which can lead to loyal customers.
- You Can Experience and See Your Impact
There are many ways to give back to your community, and whether you decide to donate time, money, or resources, you are much more likely to experience and see how your contribution has made an impact in your community.
Giving back is an important part of a business and working with a local organization provides you with the perfect opportunity to share your values with your employees and local clients.
